Welcome to Prashant 's Web site! You are here on Prashant 's website. Let me know how is it. There's more to come here but right now its like this only. Getting into the DCE has been the best moment of my life. It was a dream come true for me. Life here was chill and enchanting. The 4 years passed out immensely fast and in the hope that we will be passing out from our new campus. Favourite pastime out there was going out for movies, playing cards in the hostel, canteen and just laughing. Laughing is a best medicine: exactly suits the way we used to live. Group of friends their includes Vikas Aggarwal (urf Jhaggad), Vikram Chopra (urf Chopu), Vineet Khurana (urf CBI), Nikhil Mohan, Namit Govil, Deepak Aggarwal (urf Darling), Neeraj Arora (urf Senti), Vivek Arora (urf ABCL: Now wat ABCL means, plz don't ask me !!!!!), S. Vishwanath (urf Vishi), Manu Gautam. Aur is naacheez ko "PC" kahan jaata tha. The best part of life was the 11/2 hours of traveling for reaching the college. College fest was another thing that's really stupendous. And yaps, bright and breezy the party time: mostly birthday parties, celebrations at the last exam, and the placement parties ... all are buoyant. Another memorable time was a trip to Pune, Goa and Mumbai. The trip was 12 days long. We started off with Pune and a visit to TELCO, Pimpri. That was my first visit to a manufacturing plant and was quite enriching. Then we head for the Pune main city and cover as much as we can as we have to leave for the Goa, the next day. Spots worth mentioning were Deccan Gymkhana, F.C.Road, M.G.Road: all are good shopping malls packed with cool n fast faces; and the Osho Park (Alas !!! we could not acquire a ticket for the Osho Ashram). Anyways, we head towards the Goa in the evening and reached there the next morning. We all settled our stuff, got fresh and head towards the Bagga Beach. We spent the whole day on the beach, it was an all new experience, all new look: bareness within walking distance. We have to wrap up fast as the last bus for the city leaves at 7.00 PM. So 4 of us planned to hire a bike the next day. It was a real fun - we went to Kalangut Beach, Anjuna Beach, Vasco City, water gliding at Dauna Paula, Churches and the cruise in the evening. We danced their like anything and then a Hippi dance, Late night, we left as one of the bikes ran short of petrol. The next evening we left for Mumbai and reached their the next afternoon. The city was really fast. We were all fully exhausted but still tried our best to travel Fashion Street, Gateway of India, Chaupaati and stroll through the roads. The next day we had our time at the Essel World and in the night, we moved on to get a feel of a disc, which are quite famous there. At last we accede to one of the disc cum pub where Stag entry was allowed. We reached home happily and said good bye to Mumbai the next morning. Their were many astonishing incidents for the trip which have a treasured place with us. This was followed by a trip to Shimla the next year. It was a short trip for less than a week. The haunting part of the trip was through the toy train from Kalkaji to Shimla. It took us around 10- 11 hours to reach Simla station. That's not all, the place where we putting up was a bit short of Jakhu Mandir, and no Coolis at that moment (It's 12:30 in the night). We started our journey towards the destination, the only thing that kept moving us was that we didn't know how far it is except for the 2 guys who keep us pushing by "Are ab aa gaya yaar, 5 minutes more". The place to watch out for is The Mall Road, superb hang out and yaps decent crowd. Other things to watch out was Green Valley, Apple Garden and the Jakhu Mandir. In the final year, we all got placed in decent companies, some quite easily and few of us with a bit of slogging. I got an offer from Tata Autocomp Systems Limited as a Graduate Trainee Engineer.
